What you do with an empty toilet paper roll surprisingly says a lot about YOU.

I was around 18 when someone said this to me and it's always stuck with me.....

There are people in this life and some of them will never be willing to go out of their way to fix a problem, to help, or to lend a hand- even when they've contributed to that problem.

They just wait for the next person to come along and take care of things.

Then, there are people in this life who see a problem and they step in- even if they didn't have a part in causing it- and those people lend a hand to help.

They don't wait for someone else to come along and fix it, they ARE the person that does.

For the last 8 years, the analogy of the empty toilet paper roll has really stuck with me... because the simple act of putting a new roll on the holder is more symbolic than you might think.

Do you put a new roll on, or do you wait for the next person to after you've used the last of it?

It's how we handle the smallest things in life, that usually reflect on how we handle the biggest.
