It's getting very close to my most favorite time of the year photographically, autumn.

Today we wandered very close to home to our favorite goto lunch spot Dark Horse cafe in Watsons Creek. The gardens are equally matched by the great food, great atmosphere and awesome staff.

Sadly this is the last of my images from last weeks trip to Brisbane.

I'd seen similar images and immediately knew I had to one day try and capture this vista myself.

I wanted a sunset but the weather gods weren't on my side. That's okay it just means I have to go back one day.

I liken this vista to that of New York with the skyline and the Brooklyn bridge in the foreground. I don't think I've seen anything else similar in all my travels.

Continuing with my wandering through Brisbane, I have to confess I know absolutely nothing about technicalities when it comes to architecture but I know what I like and when a building draws me in and this one certain did that in spades.

The Star Brisbane is a Resort and Entrainment centre which for me had wow factor from every perspective and after googling prices for the place I think it's fair to say, this will be closest I will ever get to it.

I particularly liked the smattering of the old buildings surrounding this new complex.

Continued wandering around the Brisbane CBD, it's a shame we bulldoze do many of our historical buildings.

I managed to find a few amongst the high-rise.

I've lost count the amount if times we've been to Queensland but that last few days are actually the first time we've stayed in Brisbane proper and wow, what a surprise it's been.

Unlike home the CBD here is pumping. the cafe's and food courts are full and the coffee shops usually have lines, the joint is chock. a block full of people.

Little bit like what Melbourne was before covid the Brissy it clean and the people are happy.

Have a few images to share, I'll do another dump tomorrow so not to bore you all. This has really been my first attempt at architecture / building photography.

Of all the places around the globe I've been grateful to visit, Queensland's Sunshine Coast is still one of my all time favourite places to escape, even if for only a few days.

It's been too long since I got the camera out let alone the drone, yesterday I had the opportunity to do both. What an awesome day it was. I highly recommend a visit to the canola walk at The Shiraz Republic the kids big and small will love it.

Wandered up to Echuca on the weekend for an awesome wedding, found some silo's at Rochester which looked like it needed a drone to fly over....so I did and there may be a cheeky image or 2 of the Murray River and some paddle steamers.

Went a wandering down to Seaford Beach for sunset last night.

However given we're in April and it was 30 degrees at sunset, I think half of Seaford were down there also.

Can't really blame them. Anyway managed a few images and had some amazing pizza from across the road at Table 55 Pizza 😎
