The last of the Paris images.

I decided to do some Wandering at night time and to get some more exposure to street photography, something I don't do a lot off.

Given the temperatures were still hovering around 36 degrees it's fair to say there was a lot of people out and about.

For me its back to reality, nice to be home but gee it's cold.

So apparently when you're Wandering around Paris, its said you must visit and climb the Eiffel Tower so we did.

Now, as for climbing the largest "meccano" set, you can either take all 1,665 steps to get to the top or you can take the lift.

I'll let you decide which option we took. Regardless the views were pretty worth it.

Paris, yes we recently Wandered to, through and around Paris France.

Now the problem with Wandering around Paris wasn't the 4 days of 38 degrees and no it wasn't the fact that nothing has air-conditioning and by nothing I mean absolutely nothing, the problem was when to stop collecting images.

Every street, every corner, almost everything I found to be image worthy.

I have three folders to publish from Paris and will do so over the next few days so as to not saturate you all.

A few weeks ago we wandered into Liverpool. Obviously it was all about the music and the little group called the Beatles.

We wandered around Strawberry Fields and learnt the history and why it was so important to John Lennon.

If you look at the drum shaped band stand you will see the Imagine mosaic in the middle, only 2 of these exist, this one and the one in Strawberry fields and I've actually seen them both.

Whilst our Iceland adventure finished a few days ago, our last stop was their Capital, Reykjavik. Having previously visited small villages I was caught totally by surprise as to how big the joint was.

So, a few days ago we wandered into Stornoway, boarded a bus and headed up to Harris to look at a beach of all things.

Now I’d heard about the winds up here but absolutely nothing could prepare me for what was in their terms a mild day.

I took 2 images from the bus and managed a “sh*t shot” from the ship for Paul Caligari.

Next time I’ll just head to Hervey Bay or the Whitsundays if I want to see great beaches….and gentler weather.

Continuing on our Iceland wanderings a few days ago we floated into this place, we got off the ship and after a quick look around the port area we got on a little boat to float back out into the ocean we’d not long arrived on.

However, this time we saw whales, or their tales and I managed to see and shoot, with my canon camera, a puffin, and all while the puffin was munching on a fish.

I was pretty happy with that image. Another nice little Iceland place.

We’ve been wandering around Iceland. Yep Iceland. Glad it was summer and not winter mind you, then again I don’t really view temperatures in the single digits as summer.

Never the less this place is pretty cool, no pun intended.

We visited the natural geothermal areas and the Godafoss Waterfall. There’s also a few pics captured while we entered the city.

Would have liked more time to wander the actual town but time wasn’t on our side this time.

A few days age we wandered into Belfast, to be honest I wasn’t too sure about taking photos in town so I didn’t. Story for another time.

Anyway we did do a tour around this place and we wandered out to the suspension bridge which was totally worth it.

The countryside is just beautiful up here.

A trip to Bath is not complete unless you take a wander along the Locks. We were fortunate to watch a couple long boats make the transition from one lock to another to complete their journey along the waterways. The early morning reflections were certainly a bonus.
