Quick update about the markets.
The Happy Market dates planned for September and October at Distil on the Hill have been postponed to December.
The organisers needed more time after the huge turnout at Cannon Park, so the September and October markets have been rescheduled. The new location is still to be announced.
I’ll still be there when they return, offering free mini portraits for the Faces of the Market series.
Thank you for all the messages and support so far. As soon as the new date and venue are confirmed, I’ll post everything here.

I’ll be at The Happy Market Cairns – Sip & Shop on Saturday 5 September with something special.
I’m offering free mini portraits throughout the evening.
You’ll step in front of a simple black backdrop, we’ll take a few photos (usually 2–3 final images), and that’s it. The whole thing takes just a couple of minutes. In return I only ask you to sign a quick release form so I can use the photos for a new series I’m starting called “Faces of the Market”.
It’s a relaxed, no-pressure way to have a nice portrait taken — and you’ll receive your photos afterwards.
If you’ve ever thought about doing a full studio session with me, this is also a perfect low-key way to meet and see how we work together.
