A gift of love. A gift of time. A gift to be treasured for generations to come. This beautiful session was purchased as a gift for my amazing friend Sally Tarbit after her wonderful and considerate hubby came to me and asked for a gift voucher for her birthday. He shared with me how important he felt it was to capture this chapter in their lives and touched on how Sally had really wanted to book in for a shoot, but had never found the time to get it done. He wanted her to see how loved and appreciated she truly is by her tribe of amazing men. Looking back at these images, you can see the love etched so deeply, by not only her young men, but by the man who calls her the love of his life. It doesn’t get much better than this. Let me tell you, when anybody comes to me and asks me to create a gift card, it warms my heart, because time is fleeting and our moments pass us by in a blink. A photoshoot captures a snippet of our lives and creates precious art work that is treasured for generations to come. This particular session was rescheduled time and again due to sickness, bad weather and life commitments (and trust me this happens and it’s not something we can always control), but when the time came for everything to fall into place, it was absolute perfection. The weather was calm, the sun set was glowing and the location we settled on was one of the families favourite spots. If any of you have considered purchasing a voucher or a session for a loved one, this is your sign. To Scott Tarbit you old romantic, Thankyou for trusting me with this process. Your family are beautiful and the love you all share is like a dream come true. May you treasure these images always and forever, all my love, ZMP 💛

Today, in Australia, we take a moment to celebrate Motherhood. Mothers Day. A day that to many can bring a mountain of emotions. Whether you wake to a cuddle with your newborn after a very sleepless night, your toddler bringing you the sweetest art work designed with their tiny painted fingertips or a traced hand or a self portrait, to those who bring a warm cuppa and pancakes to you in bed as you enjoy a sleepy lie in, to those early risers who watch the sun pop its head over the horizon, to board games or beach swims, movie nights or dining at your favourite restaurant. Some Mothers take moments of peace, indulging in spa days or massages, a few hours of day snoozing to catch up on sleepless nights. Some Mothers celebrate with their family, their own Mums and Grandmas, listening to stories of years gone by. Others hold space for their Mum who no longer walks beside them, whose hands they don’t get to hold or who they no longer get to share this day with over tea and cake, but whose memory lives on forever and always. To Mothers who have suffered loss and cannot share this day with their own little love. Whatever this day means to you, I hope that you can find a moment to feel how special you are and how much you are loved. For me, my own Mum lives on the other side of the Earth and we haven’t shared a Mothers Day in way too many years, but I’m bless with two sweet children and a fur baby, who snuggle me tight and a husband who nurtures their love for showing me how loved I truly am. To me, today, I missed the presence of my own mum, but embraced the warmth of my own little family, here in a land down under, with breakfast in bed, a beach walk and last minute lunch at a fave little eatery and then snuggles on the lounge and for these moments I’m so truly grateful 💕

And she’s back….

Hello beautiful friends, fans, clients, followers, dreamers and artists alike. I know what you’re thinking, it’s been a long time. Some of you may have thought I’d fallen off of the face of the planet, well maybe I had in a way. The social media version of our planet I guess. Yes, I did, I took a huge break, my last post on my grid was in fact at the end of 2024. I just needed space. I needed to stop feeling that I required validation from this platform to tell me that I’m doing ok. I began to feel a little icky sharing private stories of my families to gain that validation. I needed more time to be present with my own family. I just needed that space. But not space from capturing your stories, that’s something I never need space from. Word of mouth and return clientele are wonderful things and this kept me going. So here I am, ready to share again and ready to jump back in, maybe a little slowly, but I’m back guys n gals.

In the time that I’ve been gone, I thought I’d share some snippets of what I’ve been capturing, from babies, families, small brands, couples, my own family and even the sweetest proposal. I never tire of the beauty of storytelling, so sit back, take a minute and enjoy the magic ✨

On a recent trip back to Sydney, this beautiful family heard that I was going to be in town and asked if I might have time to squeeze in a photoshoot with their sweet newborn baby girl. I made sure that I found time to make this happen. Can you believe they drove all the way down from Newcastle and back especially? What an absolute honour!!! We decided on this location, as it’s a place close to Gaz’s heart. He grew up just steps away from Warriewood beach and the paths that we ventured were ones that he knew like the back of his hand. What a place to spend your childhood days and teenage years hey? For those of you that know the Northern Beaches, you’ll know that there aren’t many places as magical. My hubs grew up in Avalon and I am always amazed when I go back at the sheer natural beauty and tranquility.
I will be back in Sydney for a week or so over the school holidays, so if anyone wants to book in a session, feel free to hit me up and I’ll see what I can do…
For now, I’ll leave you to drool over the magic of these moments I captured with this beautiful family. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart .tahnia for reaching out and trusting me with the process ✨

Back on their home soil once more.
The Gold Coast may be a heck of a long way from New Jersey, but it will always feel like home.
We ventured through fields of gold, trees of wattle, towards the lapping surf and views of the city skyline.
My second session with this sweet family and they opted for a longer session, some time where we could take things slowly, enjoy watching their sweet baby girl as she absorbed the feelings of the sand between her toes, found flowers to pick, cherished snuggles, ran as fast as her little legs could carry her towards the camera, towards the trees, towards the ocean, but mostly towards the arms of her mum and dad, her safe space, her warm place, where hearts combine and beat as one.
Thanks so much for having me again sweet family. This session was one for the memory books. Until next time…💕

Soulful, fun loving vibes with these couple of cuties. What a way to jump back in!!! It’s been a while, I know. There have been other things that have been taking my time away from socials ~ like an insanely huge and epic renovation (whilst living in the house, yes we are crazy and no, never again, ha). But I have still been shooting and I have so much content, so I’m gonna be hitting your feeds with so much goodness, you’ll be begging for more!!! I’m back baby!!!! Let’s go!

The seasons are changing, I’m beginning to feel everything slow down. The pressure is off, there seem to be less cars on the road, less gridlock, less stress in the air. Everybody is taking time to unwind and I’m loving it. My sessions have been full over the past few months of living families from far and wide. I may have been less active on socials, but behind the scenes there’s been a lot going on and I might be finding the time to share more. How wonderful is time and being able to slow down and soak it up!?!? There’s the age old saying that “they’re not little for long” and soaking up these moments with them in front of my lens is the best! Thankyou to the sweetest family for choosing me and to Ricky for booking this sweetest session as a birthday surprise for his wife Amie’s birthday. Photo shoots are really the gift that keeps on giving. For years on you can update prints, albums, framed prints. And your children and grandchildren can cherish these for generations to come.
Here’s to Monday, the start on a new week, wishing you all some slow and sweet days ahead.
Love always, ZMP 💕

The pure wonder and delight that is not only felt by family, but by strangers as they pass you in the street and look on with adoration at your darling newborn. Chloe, aka Coco is the sweetest little lady, I not only managed to capture her details, but cuddles with Mum, Dad, big brother and even her Grandma, who had flown interstate to spend her first few weeks meeting her and looking after the rest of the family, so that they could focus their energy on feeding, burping, resting and enjoying those precious, fleeting moments. I even managed to sneak in a snuggle myself, (I’m not gonna lie, it’s always the highlight of my job). Lauren and Michael, Thankyou for having me, capturing this special time and spending the afternoon with you was the sweetest ✨
