For the past five years, Gold Coast photographer Vanessa has been photographing women over forty through the 40 Over Forty Project
Because somewhere along the way, so many women over the age of 40 became invisible, and were too busy taking care of everyone else.
They rarely stopping long enough to be seen themselves.
The 40 Over Forty Project's fourth edition, is now open to 40 women aged 40, 50, 60 and beyond.
You will have your portrait displayed at the gala exhibition, your story published in the printed magazine, and an experience designed to remind you of something important.
You have not disappeared.
You have simply been waiting to be seen again.
Sessions run September 2026 through February 2027.
