Bringing the class to camp on the Great Ocean Road? We come to the camp and give the students 2 hours to get some great shots that give them a memory from camp. We provide waterproof cameras and basic tuition plus a slideshow at the end of camp and a flash drive for the teachers to take back to school.

One of our most iconic Australian animals, the koala is officially listed as endangered in NSW, QLD and the ACT. This is due to destruction of habitat as humans increase numbers and our never ending need to consume. Here in Victoria there are very healthy populations but they are spread out across the state in little patches that are extremely vulnerable to fire. This little dude is at Kennett river , an area that is so dry it would be wiped out so fast if a fire hit the region again. Fingers crossed. They are so chilled out and gorgeous, I always make a detour to go see them when going thru Kennett . What’s not to love?

Cumberland river and St George both took a beating in the recent floods. It has reshaped a bit of the landscape but actually looks quite beautiful. Nature can be brutal but it’s just an instant in eons. I saw a gorgeous copper head at Cumberland too but was too slow to get a photo!

A rare sight unless you know where to go, the Platypus is an egg laying mammal we are blessed to have in Australia. When white folk colonised the area some platypus were sent to England where they were denounced as a hoax! The male has a spur behind his bak legs that has a venom gland, capable of delivering a hefty punch to kill predators. Humans who get stabbed apparently experience intense pain but while it's not lethal, im not game to find out. Quite content admiring from the river bank!

Jebbs pool @ Cumberland River has been a special spot for me and my family for 3 generations now. Also enjoyed by many families who live or visit the GOR. Right now there is an abundance of dragonflies which makes it raven more magical. Also had an eel swim right past my feet as it looked for food, beautiful little dude. If u haven’t visited this spot, put it on the bucket list. Any time of the year it’s awesome, but swimming in the pool in summer is something else!

My happy place. Jebbs pool at Cumberland river is a very special spot to many ppl who live or visit our region. 3rd gen for my family enjoying its magic. Right now there is an abundance of dragonflies, it makes the spot even better. I was very happy to see an eel swim past my feet too, wasn’t at all threatened by my presence.
