riginally founded by audio engineering students, The Live Collective began as a brain-child to promote local musicians and enhance the industry experience of ambitious SAE audio students by hosting free live music gigs in Byron Bay. Due to overwhelming support from the staff at SAE Byron Bay & local industry professionals 'Live on the Green' was born, The Live Collective in conjunction with SAE hosted 3 free live gigs on campus in June, July and August, showcasing local talent, mixed, filmed and recorded live by students. The success of our first venture led to more ambitious goals.. The Live Collective in the coming months is working on booking several tours over the summer, TLC will also become a platform for employing high quality local production management, audio crew, film crew, mixing engineers, photographers, graphic designers and musicians. We also endeavour to host a large scale commercial genre-specific gig early next year, stay tuned...
