Saying goodbye to Lou…
This beautiful boy is nearing the end of his life, and being trusted to document this season for his family…what a privilege.
Dogs have this incredible way of weaving themselves into every part of our lives. They’re there through the ordinary moments that become the ones we treasure most. They greet us after long days, sit beside us when life feels heavy, celebrate our happiest moments, and somehow know exactly what we need without us saying a word.
They become part of the rhythm of a family, until it’s almost impossible to remember life before them.
As time begins to feel precious, photographs become so much more than images. They become a way of holding onto the little things we never want to forget, the grey around their muzzle, the way they looked at the people they loved, the quiet comfort of simply having them close.
I hope that years from now, these images don’t just remind them of this moment…but exactly how it felt to love him. 🤍
