Still obsessing over this beautiful surprise wedding from last weekend! 🥹🤍

What started as an engagement party for their family and friends quickly turned into a surprise no one was expecting… they were actually there for a WEDDING! 🥹💍

And I absolutely LOVE these two photos together!

The first is that tiny split second of them leaning in, foreheads together, just before their very first kiss as husband and wife… and then the next photo is the kiss. 😭🤍

There’s just something so beautiful about those little in-between moments. The ones that happen so quickly you almost miss them, but when you capture them, they tell the whole story.

A small, intimate backyard wedding, surrounded by the people they love, who thought they were just coming to celebrate an engagement! 😂🤍

Such a beautiful day and such a special surprise to be a part of.

It’s the little moments. 🤍

Mum’s wedding shoes, carefully fastened by the sweetest little hands…. her daughter’s. 🥹

In amongst all the excitement of getting ready, I caught this quiet little moment between a mother and her girl. No posing, no planning, just a daughter helping her mum get ready to marry the love of her life.

These are the moments I love capturing most. The ones that happen in seconds, but become memories they’ll get to keep forever. 🤍

Sometimes the most beautiful sessions are the ones that were never planned. 🤍

A little while ago, I walked past this beautiful Mum while I was on my lunch break at work. We’d never met before, but something made me stop and ask if she’d allow me to gift her a Mother’s Day photoshoot with her gorgeous twin boys.

Fast forward to this morning… we were greeted by the thickest fog, wet grass, and two little boys with completely different plans for their session. 😂 One was determined to adventure and explore everything around him, while his brother wanted nothing more than to stay cuddled up close to Mum.

So rather than worrying about perfect poses or everyone looking at the camera, we simply let them be themselves.

We explored, we cuddled, we played, and we captured motherhood exactly as it was in that moment. 🤍

And this was the result.

These are the sessions that remind me why I love what I do. Because one day those little hands won’t be quite so little, and Mum won’t be able to scoop her boys into her arms the way she can today.

But she’ll always have these.

A foggy morning, two beautiful little boys, and a chapter of motherhood frozen in time. 🤍

A massive THANK YOU to Jenny and the amazing team at Dalwood Estate for putting together such an incredible Open Day! 🤍

What a privilege it was to be part of the day, watching all of the talented vendors bring everything together and do what they do best. It was wonderful meeting so many beautiful couples and new faces, enjoying delicious food, amazing Dalwood wines, and sharing plenty of laughs along the way. Seeing the kids running around enjoying themselves while couples explored the venue made the atmosphere even more special.

So much time, passion and hard work went into making this event what it was, and it truly showed.

Congratulations on officially reopening the doors to Dalwood Estate! The renovations are absolutely stunning, and every detail has been so thoughtfully done. Jenny, you should be incredibly proud of what you’ve created, you’ve truly outdone yourself.

Thank you for having me. I can’t wait to capture many beautiful love stories at this gorgeous venue in the future. 🤍✨
