Well, it’s been a long time between posting on the ol’ socials …and a lot has happened in 2022 that’s for sure!* We sold...

Well, it’s been a long time between posting on the ol’ socials …and a lot has happened in 2022 that’s for sure!

* We sold our house in Melbourne, packed everything up into storage and moved to Queensland in the space of about 2 weeks (I still don’t know how we managed to do that!) but thanks to a lot of help from family we somehow made it happen.
* Covid finally hit our family after 2 years of lockdowns and took us all out for about 3 weeks straight!
* We had a bunch of our possessions stolen from our car while it was in transit that included some of my camera gear 😩 …very frustrating and super annoying!
* In February (and also again in March) we experienced the floods in Queensland. Lots of wet towels, mould, leaks and drains overflowing, but luckily no damage that couldn’t be fixed… eventually.
* We started repairs to our roof which meant lots of very LOUD jack hammering for a while 🙉
* The kids settled into school life and all of the after school activities and running around that comes along with that.

It’s been pretty hectic with the day to day, lots of visitors coming to stay (which has been amazing!), and some new opportunities on the horizon, but I’m looking forward to settling into the QLD life and honing my photography skills… especially with backdrops like this! 🙌🏻
