It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face on here and introduced myself
Actually, I’m not sure if I’ve ever really introduced myself..
And with quite a few new faces showing
I figure I should give you guys a face to put to the name..
Im Brooke,
I have a delicious little boy Henry to my amazing partner Jay and two beautiful fur babies sookie & jett.
I’m a coffee enthusiast (sounds better than addict), hopeless nostalgic & lover of all life.. Big & Small.
I wear my heart on my sleeve, love to Keep my shoes at the door & my toes in the sand.
I long fo r adventures in the sun but live for the smell of the earth after rain.
I embrace all that is motherhood. The bitter & the sweet.
The days of pure chaos, the slow and steady.
Ive always loved documenting life with a camera, I remember at a very young age I would be watching home made videos on repeat that my parents had documented of my sister and myself, and would forever be developing film from my little disposable cameras.
I fell into photography around 7 years ago when I first started picking up my camera while travelling and living over seas, But it was since starting my own family that I fell deeply in love with documenting these fleeting days with my littlest love and I, & realised the importance of having these days captured to look back on.
My whole heart & soul is documenting mother’s and their children, from maternity right through to the post partum days and years after.
My work isn’t just about photographing you with your family.
It’s about inviting the slow moments, holding and supporting my mothers and opening up a space for them to feel truly accepted for who they are as a woman, who they are as a mother. A space without judgement, a space to be heard and held.
A time to adventure & connect with your family.
I forever feel so grateful to be given the opportunity to get to know you, to have the privilege to be invited into your lives to and document some of the most incredibly special and momentous times.
I truly cannot wait for all the times there is to come getting to know more families, to learn & to document your stories,
