Helping the local high school with their rebranding was one of 2023's last shoots. It was a pleasure to get to work with the Morisset High School team, and I'm looking forward to seeing the images pop up around the community.

Over the last 4 years PowerPlay has outgrown it's hockey roots and diversified into a broad range of sport and commercial work.

Now it is time for the brand to reflect those changes!

It has been well over 12 months since I last shot Ice Hockey in Newcastle, so it was great to get the chance last night for the Newcastle Northstars v Sydney Bears exibition match.
It can't be overstated how much I'm looking forward to travel returning to normal so that we can get a regular Australian Ice Hockey League season up and running.

I figured it had been some time since I had posted any recent shots, so will make up for lost time with a small grab of photos from events over the last few months.

With a lot of events on the horrizon across multiple states, I'm hoping to make this a more regular occurance to share some of the great performaces and costumes of 2021.

Could not have asked for a better way to dust of the camera for 2020.
The Sydney Bears v Sydney Ice Dogs Bushfire relief charity match was a huge success.
Congrats to the bears on taking the win and a huge thank you to all those that came.

Congratulations to the Sydney Bears on taking out the 2019 Australian Ice Hockey League Goodall Cup Final!
After an early lead from Perth Thunder, the Bears rallied to score 4 unanswered goals and finally sealed Perths fate with an empty netter in the last few minutes.
Huge thank you to both teams for putting on an excellent game for all of the fans.

It was a huge first day at the Australian Ice Hockey League Finals series. Game 1 saw the Sydney Bears bring the CBR's season to a halt with a 6-4 victory. Amazing atmosphere generated by both fan groups. In-game 2 the local Newcastle Northstars fell short and now for the first time ever, the Perth Thunder will be heading to the Grand Finals!
