A memory from October 2015, at the Yonex Internationaux de France de Badminton, inside the iconic Pierre de Coubertin Stadium in Paris.
For three days, I had the opportunity to photograph some of the world’s best badminton players. It was an intense experience: the speed of the game, the concentration, the atmosphere, and the challenge of trying to capture those brief moments that disappear in a fraction of a second.
I would love to continue exploring that world through my photography.
My ambition is to document local sport and, one day, perhaps have the opportunity to photograph the Newcastle Knights at McDonald Jones Stadium .
Not just the big moments. The details. The people. The preparation. The silence.
Always looking for the story, preferably in black and white.
