Thank you for all your lovely comments on the Tarkine Wilderness photos I posted yesterday. As we drove through this ancient rainforest I was stunned and devastated to see ongoing logging happening on a large scale in this forest. I do not usually get political on my page but this made no sense to me when there are so many sustainable ways to grow timber. Seeing the stumps of such ancient, irreplaceable trees which had been recently felled was one of the saddest sights I had seen in a long time.
