Photoshop does not in any way, replace the skill of photography. The important thing is to strive to GET IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME
Your lighting, exposure and composition should be perfect. It is MUCH easier to remove that bucket, or broom from the background before you take photos to save tedious cleanup in Photoshop.

I have specialized in horses for well over 20 years and I RARELY crop, or delete an image. If it is not exactly what I want, I simply do not press the shutter. I have started this service as sadly I have seen some atrocious home photoshop jobs, and there are also many cheap companies that offer this skill, yet sadly the results are also very CHEAP. Professional results, require a professional. I treat my digital images of horses just as I do my artwork. I can enlarge to infinite detail, and select brush size, whether it be removing a blowfly or trimming the hair from an ear. I prefer to work with horses as my art skills and knowledge of anatomy come into play, but I can do almost any other photoshop requirments:
A common request is eyes closed, or ears back, whether on people or animals, if given enough visual information, almost anything can be fixed. I have also done private lessons photoshopping horses for people, yet you cannot teach 20 years of knowledge in a few hours. I do NOT alter or tamper with a horses conformation. So if you have a special photo that you need distractions removed from backgrounds, leads or halters removed, increase shine on coat, open eyes and change ears etc I am happy to provide a free quote. NB: File sizes must be larger than 10 meg

Have not done many examples of Photoshop in recent years but I have been VERY busy! Great example below of a clean up edit, remove top rail, manure, move yellow tree down for more visual impact. Lighten shadows, desaturate yellow in tail, clone out scratch on face.
NB: I NEVER alter conformation-hence scars on legs remain.

Don't compromise quality by using cheap inferior students with NO knowledge at all of the anatomy of horses!
Or the nessesity of high image resolution which is a basic requirement if a photo is to be printed large or reproduced in a publication.
Use an EXPERT in equine photography- and with 30 years experience as an equine artist, with extensive knowledge of equine anatomy and 20 years experience in publishing and Photoshop!
My work speaks for itself- there is no compromise for quality!
