The proposed bans being imposed by Parks Vic at Mt Arapiles state park will have a huge impact on the township of Natimuk and the greater region.
The small town of Natimuk has 6 Medical doctors that service Horsham and surrounds. These and the other 8 PHD professionals that service our regional have been attracted to our regional town because of Mt Arapiles. If these bans are imposed it will increase the doctor shortage in the Wimmera. Climber agree we need to protect the cultural heritage at Mt Arapiles , however the lack of consultation by Parks Victoria will have enormous impacts to the region.
