Nativity (blue/green) and Passion (amber/red) facades stained glass

What makes Sagrada Família even more remarkable is that the light is not the same everywhere.

One side glows cooler, calmer, almost reflective.
The other feels warmer, richer, more intense.

The stained glass changes the emotional tone of the whole interior depending on where you stand.

That is what good architecture does.
It is not just something you see.
It changes how a place feels.

Looking up remind me of forests. 🌲

The ceiling at Sagrada Família is where the building stops feeling conventional and starts feeling otherworldly.

Everywhere you look, the structure branches, radiates, and unfolds like a canopy overhead.
It feels less like a ceiling and more like a system of light, geometry, and movement.

This is the part that made me look up in awe. I could just lie down and enjoy this view all day.

Not many interiors do that.

What a dream come true it is to be standing here soaking this view in.

There are some spaces that feel impressive.
And then there are spaces that completely change the way you look at architecture.

The main interior of Sagrada Família feels almost impossible at first — the scale, the light, the height of the columns, and the way everything pulls your eyes upward.

What stayed with me most was how the space feels both massive and delicate at the same time. Monumental, but still full of detail.

It is the kind of interior that does not just surround you.
It lifts you.
