Absolutely blown away by monies raised by our The Great Escape Oz Car rally rallytives!

Massive shout out to our Rally Boss and his family, and all those who assist in the ALL the behind the scenes work. Without you- this would not be the success it is.

So now begins the task of working my through all the images captured on the 5 memory cards used for this years Rally.

Each card is separated into files by:
• Entrant Vehicle
• Opening & closing dinners
• Opening & closing street parades
• Along the way, and finally
• Those moments captured on each day of the Rally including themed nights and those candid moments.

One card down and already have hit the 2000 moments captured.

Once each card is read- I will then move to each file and begin separating the epic & those that warrant a dance in Light Room (LR) and Photo Shop (PS) from those that will end up on the cutting room floor.

Then begins the editing- where each file is individually imported into LR. The images are straightened, cropped if needed and the developed.

This is my favourite space, where I love watching each & every image and event series come to life. It always takes me back to that moment in time.

From here they are exported to PS for the final finishing touches before being saved.

It’s a slightly time consuming process, so if I am laying low for a bit- you now know why 📸✂️🎞️🎇

When the wheels on the Rally Cars go Round & Down, Round & Down…

Now that everyone is home safe and sound, time to start the planning and tyre sponsorships for next year’s rally.

We took a few extra days to meander our way across the country but P1 has now made it home, safe and sound.

Now to unpack, catch up on washing and cuddles with the furbabes before starting back at work and then making a start on downloading ohh you know just a couple of photos.

Thanks The Great Escape Oz Car rally for another epic adventure 🌹🧡🌹🧡🌹

Today The Great Escape Oz Car rally dropped in to spend some time with the staff and students at Peterborough Public School, South Australia.

Too say that we meet by the warmest of welcomes would be an understatement.

From the warmest of greetings, delicious soups, wraps & sweet treats- to the many oohs and ahhs over the cars.

We were truly blessed.

And as if the hospitality was not enough, each grade spend time designing a welcoming banner, and the students then hand delivered each of us a a personalised note wishing us the best in our rally and the best with fundraising for those who needed our support.

Thank to each and every staff member and student we wound like to say a very big thank you 🌹🧡
