Having watched GT and endurance racing since I was a kid but never actually having the opportunity to actually see it in person, seeing various GT3s pushing hard on track for the first time certainly bought a smile to my face. The howl of the Lamborghini, the thunder of the Aston Martin, and of course the scream of a red Ferrari. ‘Was a good morning.

Whenever at the track, I always try to incorporate pockets of light and shadow into some of my images. This particular image was taken approximately 15 minutes before the end of the inaugural 4 Hours of The Bend earlier this year when the pit complex began to cast long shadows over the start/finish straight.

Today it was announced that after 164 years, Holden will cease to exist come the end of 2020. Although I am a member of ‘Team Blue’ in the Australian motoring rivalry that is ‘Holden Vs Ford’, it is still incredibly sad to see a once prosperous and proudly Australian company fall victim to a changing industry and global economy. May the Lion have one final roar before falling silent for the last time.

2019 UniSport Nationals Individual Time Trail

A few personal favourites from the individual time trial. Always a great feeling when you push your photographic abilities in trying new techniques and come up trumps.

As 2018 comes to a close and we prepare to welcome in 2019, it is a good time to look back and reflect on the year that was as well as what to expect in the coming year.

Final Photo of the Month for 2018 is now up on the blog. Heading back to 2016 and my time in Nepal for this one.

It is hard to believe that we are already halfway through the month of December and that soon 2018 will be behind us. So for the last time this year, the featured photo of the month, "Morning Fog" comes courtesy of my time in Nepal back in December 2016.

Photo of the Month for November is now up on the blog.

Anyone who knows me, knows that my photographic interest lie with sport, landscape and wildlife as well as pretty much anything that has wheels and a engine. So it is probably somewhat surprising that this months feature photograph is of live music.

After my time photographing the cycling at the UniSport Nationals last month (report coming next week), I have to say that I have really taken a liking to photographing all things cycling.

Just finished writing about my time photographing the Titans Vs Cowboys last Saturday at Robina Stadium as part of the Nikon NRL Sideline Experience.

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to photograph one of the last round matches of this years’ NRL season between the Gold Coast Titans playing at home to the North Queensland Cowboys at Robina Stadium.

Photo of the Month for August is up and this time we head to the racetrack.

Wow August already and that means time for another photograph to be featured here on my blog. If you read my last blog post you would have no doubt read that my Nikon D7100 suffered an untimely death and as such most of July was spent
