These are some of the moments that I love to capture the most. The ones that just happen. Yes we all love the photos with everyone in them, looking and smiling for the camera, and they are important. But to me, these ones are just as important. For a little boy, up on Dad's shoulders, he is safe and on top of the world ... imagine how this little boy will feel when he is a grown man one day, and this is how he remembers his Dad 💕

Every time I go to write social media captions, my mind becomes a chaotic mess with so many thoughts that I just don't know what I am going to write about (or what people want to hear about!!). Of late, this has lead me to completely step away from social media, especially for my business, because I find it just sucks the life out of what I love doing and I just don't want to share any of my content anymore. So many rules and expectations we are trying to me to get the "best" engagement, which hopefully, turns into a booking.... how are you feeling about it all?⁠

This is actually my first official post for this year... well to be honest, it's probably my first official post since December last year when my kids went on school holidays!! How is that for not working with the social algorithms! I do have a lot to share both on the personal front and the shooting front, but this year, I am going to try something a little different and post when I feel I genuinely have something that I want to share, not just because I have to!⁠

2024 has been flying by and with all that we have going on, spaces are quite limited over the coming months for sessions, so if you have been thinking about it, now is the time to get in touch!⁠

I hate having my photo taken… at the same time, it is still so important for me to have these photos, both for me, and for my children! We underestimate how important these photos are or will be to our children down the track. You will never regret investing in your family photos!
