I’m a huge fan of working with layers in photos, even though I’m not great at it. What I love about this image is how pumped everyone is on the foreground, but old mate there, behind everyone, is just beaming on with such love and pride. Got totally sidetracked for 5 minutes there because Instagram recommended a reel about two lizards fighting/hugging it out - honestly can’t tell the difference.

Anyway, here’s Nicky’s crew helping her get ready for the big day. Side note: prep is probably one of my favourite parts of the day to shoot (it’s between that and hugs & congrats). It’s something about how everyone just seem to be less guarded or something. Not sure, can’t quite put my finger on it. But yeah it just feels like emotions/feelings/etc just seem to on display more during these parts, and I’m all for that. 👌

So… the eagle-eyed observers had already noticed the name change. That’s right! I finally stopped dragging my feet on the rebrand from 2 years ago and got it all sorted. 😬 But yay it’s done now! 🥳🎉🎊

I will not promise more posts and content to come, because that’d be a lie. I’m not a social media guy, and I’ve learned to accept that. There will be one kickass slideshow next week to showcase my work, but after that, who knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️😅
