Whether you’re a mum, a mum-to-be, a grandmother, an aunty, or someone who simply shows up with love and care — today is for you.

This one feels extra special for me as it’s my very first Mother’s Day.

I also loved doing this year’s Mother’s Day minis — here’s one of my favourites. These two little smiles were just too much. 😍

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me along my own journey, especially while finding my feet getting back into work. It really means a lot.

I had to share this little cutie from one of the Mother’s Day mini sessions.

This gorgeous little guy is only 5 months old and already sitting up unassisted, which absolutely blew me away. (My little man isn’t quite sitting by himself yet.)

My Mother’s Day minis wrap up this Sunday at Balyang Sanctuary, so this is the final round of sessions I’ve scheduled.

The setup is simple and cosy - a blanket and cushions out on the grass, families snuggling in together, and just letting those little moments unfold naturally.

If your little ones feel like getting involved, I also bring along fairy bread bits 🌈 which usually turns into sprinkles everywhere and plenty of genuine giggles.

All families are welcome, and doggos are always invited too 🐶

I’m back! 📸

And it seems I may have accidentally hired a very small assistant photographer. 👶🏻

Maternity leave went far too quickly, and somehow Elliott is already 6 months old. It turns out he’s very interested in the equipment. His current specialties include chewing the camera strap and pressing buttons that mysteriously change settings without me noticing.

It’s starting to feel a bit like that Friends episode where Marcel switches the TV to Spanish and nobody can figure out how to change it back… except in this case it’s my camera, and Elliott is the monkey. 🐒

After taking some time to enjoy those early months, Gingersnaps Geelong is officially back from maternity leave and I’m slowly easing back behind the camera.

For now my availability will mainly be weekends and some weekdays while we juggle daycare and babysitting. If you’ve been thinking about organising a shoot, feel free to reach out and we’ll see what we can make work.

I’m also starting to take bookings again for:

• Wedding photography and videography

It feels especially fitting that my first job back will be Mother’s Day Mini Sessions, particularly now that I’m celebrating my first Mother’s Day as a mum myself. 💐

Gingersnaps Geelong is officially back in business! After a little time away becoming a new mumma to baby Elliott, I’m so excited to be getting back behind the camera. And what better way to kick things off than with Mother’s Day Mini Sessions.

Whether you’re organising a thoughtful gift, treating yourself to some beautiful photos with your kids, or finally updating the family photos, this is the perfect excuse.

As many of you know, we’ve welcomed the newest member of the Gingersnaps Geelong family! Our son Elliott arrived on the 7th of October 👶, and we’ve been busy adjusting to life with a newborn 🍼.

I’ll be gradually returning to business over the coming months, taking bookings for larger jobs like Weddings starting from Autumn 2026 💍📸.

In the meantime, it’s business as usual for our childcare and kinder photography, with Fyans Park Kindergarten scheduled to start this coming Monday 10th November. 🛝

Please reach out with any enquiries in the meantime, including Childcare and Kinder Photography beginning January 2026, and I’ll get back to everyone as I can 💌.
