A little snapshot of my creative world of fine-art photography. Inspired by the interplay of light and natures elements, I love capturing the beauty of the coast and bushland around me.
When I’m not working in my other role as a consultant on complex clinical trials, you can find me The Studio & Co. in Moorooduc. I have a selection of work on display, framed and ready to hang. There are many more images available on line, printed to order on archival cotton rag paper. Prints can be shipped globally in sturdy postal tubes, while framing is available locally. ☁️ ST ANDREWS ☁️
Thrilled to have my limited edition print St Andrews in the Mornington Art Show. Held at the Peninsula Community Theatre, the show is open daily from 10 till 5pm until the 24th January. With 800 artworks on display, it is well worth a visit.
This image was taken on a wild & windy day, not the sort of day that I would normally be out with my camera. I felt the need to get outside so I went for a drive, location scouting for another time. I walked onto the beach, watching the storm clouds and rapidly changing sky. There was not a soul around. I stood near the shoreline and watched the waves smoothing out the sand in front of me. The gaps in the clouds disappeared and there was the shot, and it was fleeting.
I felt a surge of energy and within a split second a wave came out of nowhere. Fully dressed, with shoes and a winter coat on, the water was up to my waist as I ran towards the carpark with my camera above my head. A close call, and absolutely terrifying, but I think it was worth it 🤍
