- An important update from me -
After 13+ wonderful years of running my photography business, a business I have absolutely loved and poured my heart into. I’ve made the bittersweet decision to temporarily close my studio and step back from photography for a while.
This hasn’t been an easy choice, but it’s one that comes from a really personal place. As flexible and rewarding as my job has been, it does come at the cost of weekends with my three beautiful kids and late nights at the computer, robbing me of so much time with my family. Life was beginning to feel like a constant hustle, and after losing someone close to us far too young, it’s really hit home just how precious this time is. I don’t want to look back and feel like I was always chasing my tail instead of being present with my family.
So, whilst my youngest is still little, I’m biting the bullet and making a change. This isn’t forever.. after nurturing my business for 13 years, I could never truly hang up my camera. When the time feels right and the balance feels possible, I’ll be back. But for now, I need to choose slower days, weekends free, and more golden moments with my little ones and amazing husband. I know I won’t regret that.

💌 My business email will remain active ( [email protected] ) so if you need to order prints or products, or ask questions.. please reach out, I will remain active on there! Social media ( instagram/facebook) messaging options will be dormant whilst I am on leave, to help streamline things.
🎁 If you hold a gift voucher or credit with me, you can either use it within the next 8 weeks, request a refund, or I can happily refer you to a local photographer who will honour the session.
📷 Lastly, If you have a session booked with me this year, do not fear.. your session will still go ahead as planned. This is a slow transition, all shoots will be fulfilled.
This decision makes me both sad and excited. Sad to step back from something I love, but excited for the freedom it gives me as a mum and wife. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for 13 years of love, support, and trust in capturing your most precious moments. This truly isn’t goodbye.. just a pause! I will be back.
And for those of you who know me well, don’t worry, I won’t get too bored without my business! Between raising kids and our constant habit of building, renovating, and selling homes, we’re always up to something.
