The VTIO Qualifier is happening at Geelong Botanical Gardens today! 🏆🔥

If you’re in the area, come down, watch the action and support the incredible participants taking on the challenge. There’s nothing quite like being there to experience the energy, determination and excitement of these events!

I’m also looking forward to being there behind the camera, capturing some of the action, big moments and everything that makes competition days like this so special. 📸🔥

With the upcoming VTIO Qualifier Round just around the corner, it’s time to make sure the camera bag is ready for all the action! 🏆🌳

A look back at the action 🌳📸
With this weekend’s Victorian Tree Industry Organisation (VTIO) Qualifier round at the Geelong Botanic Gardens fast approaching, it’s the perfect time to look back at some of the action I had the pleasure of capturing at previous events earlier this year.
From precision and skill to speed, strength and a whole lot of concentration, these events are always full of incredible moments - and it’s pretty awesome getting to capture the people who make the tree industry what it is!

There’s a softness and stillness to these days that feels almost dreamlike - tiny fingers, sleepy cuddles, quiet moments and so much love wrapped into one little chapter! I'm looking for one couple to take part in a creative concept photoshoot as I bring a specific artistic vision to life.
This is not a standard family mini session—it's a styled, creatively directed session where I'll be capturing a particular look and feel for my portfolio.

I'm looking for:
🤍 Couples or recently engaged couples.
🤍 Any age (18+).
🤍 Comfortable showing genuine connection and affection on camera.
🤍 Happy to be creatively directed.

I believe there’s something timeless about a debutante ball.

It’s not just about the gown, the gloves, or the tradition. It’s about marking a moment that will never come again.

As photographers, we’re often reminded that the most meaningful images aren’t always the perfectly posed ones. Sometimes it’s the quiet walk between locations, the smile that appears naturally, or the way someone carries themselves knowing they’re stepping into a new chapter.

These portraits capture more than a beautiful dress. They capture confidence, excitement, family pride, and the emotions that come with celebrating a milestone. Years from now, the flowers, the venue, and even the fashion may fade into memory, but these photographs become a way to revisit exactly how this season of life felt.

That’s what makes milestone photography so special. It freezes a chapter that passes far too quickly and turns it into something tangible to hold onto.
