Firstly that we’re already done a wedding together… 12 months ago! And second, these two gorgeous humans eloped and on their anniversary today let their secret out to the world! “Connected.”

This is the word that’s stayed with me since this sweet family’s session.
They messaged the next day to say they felt so deeply connected the entire time, and honestly, there is nothing more meaningful to me than that.

Because beyond the photos, beyond the light and the location, it is the feeling that lingers. The way you slow down, lean in, laugh, hold each other a little closer. That is where the magic lives.

To know that is the experience I get to leave behind, it is both humbling and powerful.

This work is not just about images. It is about connection, and that will always be the most beautiful part.

I feel like in the moment, when you show up for family photos and it’s gale force winds, unexpected rain, and the shoot is over before it even begins… it feels like a disaster.
