I strongly encourage parents to jump on board and get involved with the school. We have many wonderful projects on the go and it would great to have some new voices on the committee. There is minimal commitment, we only meet approx every 6 weeks.

Don’t be a voice in the background, be a voice where it matters.

If you can’t make it but would love to be involved, make sure you let the school know.

COORONG NATIONAL PARK

The Coorong could not have been more beautiful or perfect today.

If your asking why I’m not home? Why would I be, when I can spend the afternoon exploring this place with the family. We are so grateful to have this wonderland in our backyard.

As per the National Parks SA website, you can keep social distance in parks, but no camping allowed.

I know, more pelicans! But arn’t they so beautiful?

I just love hanging with these guys. They dont judge, they are wary but kind not only to me but to each other, they give you a sense of peace and somehow make you feel calm and relaxed.

I think people should be more like pelicans.

I was very surprised today to hear I won first prize in the SE Natural Resources “Capture the Coorong” photography competition. I was then surprised again, to find I also got first prize in a second category.

Very unexpected been the first photo comp I have ever entered.
