There’s no right or wrong answer, just what feels right for you.

The pros:
• You get to see all the details you’ve spent months planning before your guests arrive.
• It’s a quiet moment together to soak it all in.
• You’ll actually experience your reception before it’s filled with people.

The cons:
• It can take away a little of the excitement of walking in for your grand entrance.
• It adds a little extra time to your timeline.
• If you’re chasing golden hour portraits, timing can get a little tighter.

If taking it all in together, champagne in hand, sounds like your kind of moment, I’d say go for it. If you’d rather save the magic for your entrance, that’s just as perfect.

There isn’t a wrong choice, only the one that feels the most like you.
