So ts been nearly two and a half years, so much has happened both personally and professionally but here I am back living in my Hometown of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
Straight to the important stuff!
Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Beeby who were married yesterday Friday the 11th. It was such a pleasure to capture memories for you as I now continue my photography journey in my hometown.
It truly was a memorable day with plenty of love laughs and moments I am sure you both will cherish forever.
Linda and Mick, thankyou once again as I share a sneak peakof the first kiss as Mr and Mrs Beeby ❤️ .

"Looking For Beauty in Dark Times"

📸 Jondaryan QLD Australia

As we all struggle through difficult times I thought I would share this image I took on the property where I live On Sunday afternoon. It really got me thinking hence the name I have this Image....

As we battle through hard times it is important for us to focus on the positive, look for beauty in our surroundings, and as hard as it may be make the most of the time that we are in isolation.

On Sunday afternoon I watched the below storm rush by, and as the grey clouds swirled dumping glorious rain in areas far from me, the sun shone behind me and the silos, casting shadows on the foreground of my scene. Many species of butterflies were gliding graciously through the air, and as I watched, a rainbow appeared in the distance.... the colours a stark contrast to the dark grey clouds, bringing beauty to my eyes.

As much as times seem difficult and hard at present, please take the time to find some beauty and positiveness in each and every day. You may feel stuck at home, but use this time to make memories with your family. Dust off that board game, make some popcorn and catch up on a movie or ten, get out in the kitchen, and do some good old fashioned cooking, or use this time to do a clean out of cupboard or what about that garden bed that has a few weeds in it. What about those half started craft projects that you had forgotten about that are sitting in the back of the cupboard, or maybe a move around of furniture in the lounge, or test your skills (or in my case lack of skills) by playing a PS4 with your kids.

Some of you are essential workers, people who are on the front line as well as in the background working hard long hours each and every day. My husband is classed as an essential worker, and I do worry about him being at work as I worry about a lot of my friends who are out there keeping our country running and looking after those who need it. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I hope you know you are appreciated.

As Public Events have been cancelled I will not be able to be behind the camera in a public sense . But Please remember to support people like myself during this difficult times, so if there has ever been an image of mine that you thought would suit that empty space in the lounge room to bring you some beauty in these troubling times feel free to flick me a message.

Also I will not be taking any further bookings in QLD. Apologies for any inconvenience this causes. Future bookings will only be available in Victoria specifically the Mornington Peninsula Area. So if you reside in Victoria and have any future events including Horse Events, Weddings, Maternity, Family Portraiture, Pet Portraiture or anything else you may need a photographer for feel free to flick me a message. . Please note bookings to apply from July 2020 but may be subject to change depending on the Covid-19 Pandemic Restrictions.

Please stay safe wherever you are seeing this post from, and as much as the restrictions are difficult, the more we follow and take heed the sooner our lives can hopefully resume some normality.

Sending a "virtual" hug from my family to yours ..
Cindi x

I have only just got home from a little local storm chase which saw me capturing probably some of the most memorable images of my photography career.

As the sun was setting, I found myself once again up one of the normal spots that I find myself at, and this is another of many images I took and plan on sharing with you in coming days. A single 30 second image, with all the things I Love in an image, Sunset Colour, Storm and Bolts!

44mm again today making it 202mm so far for the month of February ...
Total for 2020 thus far 295 mm ....
We are currently waterlogged the tennis court is ankle deep and basically the water has no where to go so wading barefoot is the footwear of choice !
Please be careful on our roads there is a lot of water so please drive to conditions or better still avoid driving unless you absolutely have to ...
This is my driveway currently ...
Have many mm have you had at your place ?

Good Morning,
I have not been able to stray too far from home in the last couple of days due to severe weather conditions. In our area, there is plenty of water lying around, limiting where I can go.

Last night my storm chasing only allowed me to drive to the end of my driveway where I was in prime position to watch an amazing light show which once again managed to drench the already water logged ground.

This is one of my favourite ones taken last night and yes it is a single 25 second Image .... How amazing is Mother Nature
