Since the age of 13 I had always taken candid style photos of family and friends but never took it too seriously. After my husband’s sudden death in 1998 the depth of my grief caused me to lose interest in many things, including photography. But, many months after his pass

ing I began to use photography as a tool to process my grief. In essence, my photography style has grown out of my darkest moments of grief into what I now consider - MY celebration of the gift of life and death in a most vulnerable form.
