Just a little reminder that tomorrow's event at Robinsons Bookshop is much more than an author talk.

You'll hear directly from two of the wonderful swimmers featured in The Next Wave as they share what it was like to entrust me with their stories, see themselves reflected in the book, and become part of a project that celebrates community, belonging and connection.

It's one thing to read a story. It's something else entirely to hear it in the person's own voice.

And... there may even be one more familiar face joining us. 😊

If you're free tomorrow afternoon, we'd love to welcome you.

🗓 Saturday 1 August
🕑 2.00–3.30pm
📍 Robinsons Bookshop, 3/12 Station St Mall, Frankston

Friends, if you're in the Frankston area this Saturday afternoon, join me for a special 'in conversation' event featuring my new book, The Next Wave. A sequel to my internationally award winning book Immerse, The Next Wave explores the beauty, healing and connection found within our local open-water swimming community through powerful photography and deeply personal stories.

I'll be sharing the back-story to The Next Wave, and why this was a special book to create. Several swimmers from the book will also share what it was like to have their stories, vulnerabilities and experiences captured and preserved through words and images.

Whether you're drawn to the ocean, storytelling, photography, community, or simply love hearing authentic human stories, this promises to be a heartfelt and inspiring afternoon.

Date: Saturday 1 Aug 2026
time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm
Location: Robinsons Bookshop, Shop 3/11 Station Street Mall, Frankston (thank you Robinsons! It's so important to support our local book shops!!)
