Last weekend was a long weekend in Australia so l hooked up the caravan and went down to the Bellarine Peninsula. Stayed in a caravan park at Portarlington was very lucky to get a spot considering it was the Celtic festival in Portarlington.
Once again, we fluked the weather pretty much sunny all 3 days, so we took a drive to Point Addis Beach a very much under rated beach along The Great Ocean Rd.
Drive through Torquay and drive pass Bells Beach and you have a beautiful beach often overlooked while traveling along The Great Ocean Rd. Once you walk down a set of stars to the beach you notice straight away dramatic sandstone and limestone cliffs the landscape has the best of beaches, cliffs and clifftop views, it’s a real showstopper.
Its aways a treat to find Tawny Frogmouth sleeping in a tree a bird native to the Australian mainland and Tasmania they are nocturnal birds.

Hi all well I've just got back for a 5 day trip with the caravan down to Phillip Island and the weather for the first 3 days was like it was summer no wind and warm.
Sadly, that changed on the 4 day strong winds and patchy rain on and off most the day.
Those 3 days provided some amazing sunsets on Woolamai Surf Beach hope you enjoy them.l

Just recently we spent a night in Benalla to see the hot air ballon show at night (photos to come) The next morning we took a drive to Bright and Beechworth to see the Autum trees. I took my large lens for we know at this time of the year the bird life comes alive and the sort after bird is the Gang-gang cockatoo and we were lucky enough to find a flock of them..❤️

Hi all how was everybody's Easter break? We hooked up the Van and headed up to Murchison and camped along the Goulburn River.
It was beautiful weather and good to be able to get away and refresh and get away from these crazy times we live in..

It took the last day to finally get some nice colour in the sky this sunrise over Murchison along the Goulburn River was worth getting out of bed for.🌞

Hi all, just a quick advertisement for Coach Rv caravans, we got ourselves a new caravan built late last year, and we are loving our new purple van dubbed (The Phantom). I have had other caravans built over the years and l can categorically say my Coach van is the best build by far.

Last night's lunar "Blood Moon"

A lunar eclipse occurs when Earth passes directly between the Sun and Moon, casting a gigantic shadow across the lunar surface and turning the Moon a deep reddish-orange. This alignment can only occur during a full Moon phase.

Just got back from Phillip Island few days ago spent a week there for my birthday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had great weather blue skies the whole time it was nice, and worm made good use out of the caravan park pool.
Been to Phillip Island a few times forgotten how good it is specially the south side beautiful beaches specially Cape Woolamai Beach..
Some of the best seafood specially the rock flathead which is hard to find these days.
We have booked ourselves back there in May looking forward getting back..

Over the weekend went for a day trip to Murchison along the Goulburn River it was 38 degrees so had a little swim a few drinks. And was able to capture a King Parrot walk his way down to the river's edge and had a quenching drink it was across the other side of the river so way lucky l took my zoom lens..

I took a drive last night with a plain to photograph the full moon with a windmill I've been eyeing off for years now. But unfortunately, the moon raised on a bad angle to the windmill. So, it was plain B back to my old trusty windmill on the HWY Beverage for a sunset not a bad alternative what a beautiful sunset☀🌤️

Driving down to Point Lonsdale on Tuesday to experience such a magical sight, not only seeing the Aurora Australis through the lens but also with the naked eye. Arrived in Point Lonsdale nice and early was hoping to see the Aurora for the sky was clear and the KP Index numbers were off the charts.

So grabbed me an advantage point and waited first for the sun to go down and the sunset didn't disappoint as the sun set behind the hill and Lighthouse the sun rays were shotting off into the sky. ☀


Then finally after a little wait around 11pm I could clearly see the beams of light moving in gentle waves across the sky it was happening. And later that night the aurora beams pushed towards the west and in a very rare occasion my first time seeing blue beams 💙
