Following on from yesterday's post here are males of the robin species of Victoria.
1. Hooded robin
2. Rose robin
3. Southern scrub robin
4. Red-capped robin
5. Jacky winter
6. Pink robin
7. Eastern yellow robin
8. Scarlet robin
9. Flame robin

This is a southern scrub robin and the last species I had to find to complete my robins of Victoria set. Pretty chuffed ...

This is a southern scrub robin and the last species I had to find to complete my robins of Victoria set. Pretty chuffed to find quite a few pairs of these birds scuttling around the forest floor earlier this week. Probably the most friendly of the robin species, at times they were coming too close for my lens to focus.

Because they are so abundant and noisy I think sulphur-crested cockatoos are under appreciated but when you take the time to observe them they are quite amazing birds.
