More from my recent shoot with The Mavis’s 📸✨

This one felt really special to be part of. We shot these images around the release of their beautiful new single Heaven, a song I connected with instantly the first time I heard it! 😇

You know those songs that just hit you straight away and make you feel something deeply? That was this one for me. It has such a nostalgic, emotional feel. I actually teared up the first time I heard it!

I’m so grateful to create these images for such an iconic band and to capture a little piece of this release.

New work for the Hornstars 📸🎶
This was such a fun one. These guys are honestly just the most delightful mixed bag of lollies… all so different, all so unique, and each bringing something special to the band.

We shot around St Kilda at sunset and it honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. Soooo much fun.

This shoot was so special to me! 💖 At the end of last year I received an enquiry to photograph The Mavis’s for their new music and upcoming gigs… and honestly, I had a full wait… what? moment!

Like so many of us who came of age in the late 90s / early Y2K, they were everything. I still remember the first time I heard Thunder & that instant obsession. Seeing Beki & Matt at festivals, on Recovery, on TV screens glowing late at night… they weren’t just a band, they were a feeling. When Cry came out in ’98 it was everywhere. Every house party. Every living room. Someone always had Pink Pills playing. It was the soundtrack to an era!

Fast forward to now… and getting to create with them was an absolute career highlight. Beki & Matt are genuinely some of the loveliest humans I’ve ever met. They’re kind, grounded & effortlessly cool. From the moment we started shooting it honestly felt like I’d known them for years. Everything felt easy, relaxed and familiar, which is the best place to create from. This shoot was joyful, fun and such a delight. The best kind of people to photograph. I still can’t quite believe it! 💓💓💓

I was lucky enough to hear their new single on the shoot before its release, and like its title… it is pure Heaven. You’re all going to love it!! More images from this shoot coming soon which are some of my favourite photos I’ve ever taken. 🥰

Helloooo, just checking in because I’ve been a bit quiet on here! 🙋🏻‍♀️

The last few weeks (okay… months) have been insanely busy. Running the business, shooting, editing, admin… mixed in with personal stuff, social stuff, and just life in general. Emotionally, mentally & physically draining in that slow-burn way where you keep pushing… until your body is like, hi 👋🏻 can we please rest now? 😴

Between everything going on around us, the constant stream of information and s**t we’re all being force-fed online, I needed to step back for a bit and focus on my clients and give my nervous system a break! Sometimes stepping away really is the best thing you can do for your creativity & mental health… even if the algorithm doesn’t love it! 🩷

I’ve just wrapped my last shoot and still have editing to get through, but I’m very much looking forward to slowing down and spending some quality time with family and friends.

Wishing everyone a beautiful Christmas and a gentle end to the year. Feeling grateful, and excited to create more in 2026! 🎄🎅🏽❤️

The last slide was the inspo for this whole shoot… a Beyoncé portrait she sent me that was taken outside a little house in Brunswick, right here in Melbourne! As soon as I saw it, I knew exactly where to shoot. I live nearby and my neighbourhood is full of these quirky, quaint houses that ooze character. The kind of places most people walk past and never really notice… but I’m obsessed with them. 😍

Loved this shoot so much! Honestly… I just LOVE my neighbourhood. Wandering these little streets feels so special and charming. ✨

Quick update: I’m fully booked before Christmas and taking a much needed break until the 9th Jan. Now booking mid-Jan / Feb! 🩷⚡️

More from this incredible shoot with DJ Chazz! 😍

This entire session was shot using nothing but the sun. No reflectors, no diffusers, no fancy tricks… just knowing how to work with the light rather than fighting it! 🌞

A lot of photographers avoid direct sunlight like the plague… but when you understand it, it can be pure magic. Hard light, deep shadows, glowing skin, punchy colour.

And this location?? Easily my favourite to date. The Pink Cliffs feel other-worldly, bold, and surreal. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t need much direction because it already does half the work for you.

Shoots like this are why I love what I do. Strong vision, trust, creative freedom, and letting things unfold naturally. No rushing. No stiff posing. Just energy, connection & letting things unfold naturally.

I’m completely obsessed with how this series turned out! 🤩🩷

The Shoot vs The Shot 💜⚡️

NEW WORK 📸 So excited to finally share some photos from my shoot with Azzurra. This one was genuinely so special.

Would you believe the first image in this carousel was the very first photo of the entire day? The money shot… in frame one!!! 🤯 Usually the first 10 minutes are just warm-up/test shots while the client gets comfortable, but the second we started shooting I saw this gorgeous stream of light coming through the window and asked her to squat down and face it. I’m sure she thought I was absolutely mad 😂

Azzurra told me later she was actually really nervous…and honestly, I think that’s what makes the image so beautiful. There’s this raw vulnerability and stillness in it that you just can’t replicate. 😍

The location made it even more meaningful. It was her family’s old restaurant, a space filled with history, family and memories, and we were lucky enough to have access before it changes forever. Such an iconic spot.

Then we wandered the surrounding streets (aka my local neighbourhood) and it all just flowed. Perfect light, perfect vibe, and such a beautiful mix of portraits.

NEW WORK 📸 Every now and then I get an enquiry that makes me go…OHHH yeah… this is going to be good. Chazz’s message was exactly that!! “vibrant, lots of colour, sparkles, festival-wear vibes.” Instantly I was in. 🦄

She DJs all around Melbourne (across multiple genres because she’s a show-off in the best way) and she’s huge in the Twitch community. Once she booked, I built a vision board and she picked her favourites. She loved all the bold, otherworldly, Burning Man-esque looks. Straight away I knew exactly where we needed to shoot! ✨

I’d been dying to photograph at the Pink Cliffs in Heathcote, so I suggested it… and Chazz was obsessed. It’s honestly one of the most unreal parts of country Victoria. It’s like stepping into another world. 👽

So we made a day of it. Proper road-trip energy. Music, snacks, perfect weather, the best conversation, me driving like her personal chauffeur with a camera. The shoot itself was magic. Chazz is such a natural and such a genuinely lovely person. We had sooooo much fun we almost forgot we were working. 🥰

And after a huge day of creating? We rewarded ourselves with dine-in Macca’s on the way home. Two exhausted weirdos eating fries like we’d known each other forever. Iconic behaviour! 🍔🍟

My shoots are never “a quick few clicks and done”. I’m with you the whole way. Helping you feel comfortable, confident, and fully expressed. I will absolutely go the extra mile (literally) to get the shot.

I took these photos at the Across the Great Divide tour in 2007 and they still feel completely surreal to me! ✨

I was obsessed with Silverchair growing up. Fully in love with Daniel Johns. I used to write secret love letters to him, but never sent any of them! 🥰

The first time I ever saw them live was at an underage gig at the old Palace in St Kilda when I was 16. They were 16 too. And honestly? It was mind-blowing 🤯 That kind of raw talent at that age… I’d never seen anything like it. It was one of those moments where your heart feels like it’s going to burst out of your chest because you just know you’ll remember it forever.

The Palace burnt down years later… and tonight I’m seeing him right next door at the Palais for his In Conversation show… which feels sooooo nostalgic. 😍

And look… my manifesting skills are so powerful these days, I’m pretty sure I can manifest a Silverchair reunion and a 1:1 photoshoot with Daniel! Watch this space 🤩✨

Melbourne, I hope you’re ready! 16-year-old me is losing it. Tonight’s going to be wild x 💜⚡️

I photograph artists, not algorithms! 🤩

I’ve never been interested in chasing numbers. I care about creating something real. Images that make you feel something. The kind that capture your energy, your story, your spark… not just what’s trending this week.

I’d rather have a smaller audience who connects deeply with my work than a million scrolls past it. Because the right people always find you when you create with intention.
