There is a reason why photographers don’t post their RAW photos.
It’s not the finished product.
I still see so many snide comments on social media by apprentice photography detectives saying,
”You’ve manipulated the colours here!”
My common reply is, “oh thank goodness the detective has arrived, we all feel better now.”
Funnily enough, the person commenting is never a photographer.
Photography is art. Like food can be art.
Yet you don’t go into a kitchen and tell the chef how to do his job.
Taking the photograph is a part of the job and editing the photograph is another part of the job.
Just appreciate the photograph for what it is, or don’t appreciate it which is also fine, and move on.
But I am pretty sure if I posted my RAW images and tried to say, “wouldn’t this look nice up on your wall?!” People would look at me like I was crazy…
