Who is Love and Light Studio?
Hello! My name is Gloria Finau. Samoan. Originally from South Auckland, New Zealand but I now reside in Melbourne, Australia. I’ve been a photographer and graphic designer since 2012. I graduated with a Bachelor in Media Design majoring in Graphic Design and I was pulled in the direction of photography. I’m happily married with an energetic 2 year old and a brand new bub. I love Op shops, stand up comedies, Disney movies, park dates with my girls and hunky husband, cafe dates with people I love and getting to know new people from all walks of life.
I’ve currently been enjoying a slower pace in my work since having my first daughter, but I’m always up for a challenge, especially with 2020 around the corner. Going through my work, it’s made me realise that I still love creating moments and memories for people. What makes me stand out? Having a vast life experience myself, I value people and relationships. I capture real moments. I capture the beauty in life that’s often at times hard to put into words. I make people feel like they matter. Because you do. Your time to me is not a job, it’s an opportunity for me to speak through my art. To be able to convey what you feel for those you love in that moment. To me that’s priceless and timeless. I see you.
