A few weeks ago I jammed myself between a balcony wall and planter box, too scared to move for twenty minutes, waiting for this moment* to happen. It was worth every bruise and cramped muscle! 😁
This is way up on my list of highlights from this year - never mind what these two thought of it 😂.
Congratulations (again!) E & F. What a privilege to have been there at the official start of your future together, even if I was hiding in the bushes for it. Much love to you both.
*this moment I've shared (first two photos) is actually a funny little moment at the end of the shoot, re-enacting the big moment.
I've left the actual proposal out, as something for them to treasure, and share themselves if they choose to.

Liz and Ronan, from a while back now. This image will always be one of my faves - it kicked off a lot of wonderful weddings and beautiful clients, as well as Liz and Ronan's wedding being featured in Country Style magazine, so I thought I'd re-edit it for the new website - which is now live, btw (woohoo!!).
Actually, it's been live for a week or so, but I haven't told anyone because I've been ironing out the kinks. There's probably still one or two - but I'm now officially known as North Mountain Studio wherever I hang out online. Phew

A reminder of an afternoon spent wandering Montmarte and arriving at Boris Lume Patisserie Boulangerie as they were preparing to close (you may need to have a fan of Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir in the house to understand the significance of this).
There were two lone pastries left after we realised the error of not purchasing more the first time around (picture three), which we quickly snapped up using our very broken but amusing (I hope!) french.
I'm both very sad and grateful we don't live in a land we can walk to the corner boulangerie and grab a handful of these whenever we fancy.

I recently decided to reopen my studio for newborn sessions* and had the pleasure of having these two in last week - the sweetest baby girl and her very proud and besotted big brother.
If an in-home shoot feels a bit much in those early days of a new baby, feel free to reach out about having it done in studio instead. It is limited to a maximum of one sibling and mum and dad only, due to space, but I'd love to help you decide on the best option for your new little family.
