Mads & Chris ended their day the way the Italians would. Martinis at a green marble bar. Napkins flying over one long table. Nobody in a hurry to leave.

There was a frutta fresca cart by the door and Montenegro on the shelf. Laughter passed down the table like a shared plate. As I love it, nothing staged, a joyful celebration of love, gathering together and living in the moment.

Mads & Chris brought their people down from Queensland and turned a Melbourne day into something that felt deeply personal from beginning to end.

A morning getting ready with friends and family, a first look in Fitzroy Gardens with the skyline behind them, and a wander through the city together. Vows at the Old Treasury Building, then pasta, wine and the kind of party where no one was ready for the night to end.
