Steph + Josh (and their beautiful bub to be!) // Toolshed Bar, Bistro & Cabins Noojee

Earlier this month I spent the day with these two absolutely beautiful humans, surrounded by their nearest and dearest.

It really was the sweetest celebration — the love between them both (and for their little one on the way) was so evident in every moment.

Afterwards, Steph sent me the most beautiful review and I was honestly welling up reading it…

“I honestly cannot be happier with Kayla's efforts on our special day. She was so kind, professional and made me and my new husband feel totally at ease taking photos. I normally hate photos of myself being taken and was worried I'd hate the photos no matter what, but when I saw just the sneak peeks, I cried. I have never had anyone capture what I felt was truly me. She nailed the vibe and the day and everything that is special between me and my husband. Yesterday at in the Yarra Valley, these two officially became husband and wife.

The sweetest couple, with their little sidekicks Harley and Nudge (the very charming border collie) coming dangerously close to stealing the spotlight more than once!

An energetic wedding party kept the whole day buzzing — including the groomsmen’s iconic aisle entrance as the “Beer Boys,” launching beers into the crowd so guests could sip along during the ceremony. Equal parts hilarious and unforgettable.

Fun, sweet, and just the right amount of beautifully chaotic energy, this was a celebration full of personality, big love, and the kind of joy you could feel in every moment ❤️

What a sweet start to the year yesterday was (Yes I took alllll of January off!! Soo good!!) with Juliet + Ryan at and my new friend

Clear skies and bright sunshine, hot in the afternoon sun, set the scene for a beautiful celebration with their family and friends, many who had travelled from overseas while
entertained them all evening.

It was a day filled with quiet moments, big love, and the kind of joy that settles in and stays ❤️

Yesterday was an absolute dream in Arawata, South Gippsland.

There’s something pretty special about photographing a wedding in a place that holds so much family history. Piper’s family has deep connections there, and friends and family even travelled down from Queensland to be part of it. The ceremony was held in the same little church where Piper’s parents were married, which made it all the more meaningful.

Both families were so genuinely kind and welcoming, and their sweet dog Sansa did her best to steal the show whenever she could.

The weather was meant to be terrible, but thanks to an old wives’ tale and a couple of sausages buried in the ground, we ended up with only the lightest drizzle and a whole lot of luck. It didn’t affect a thing — everyone enjoyed lawn games, drinks outside the Arawata Hall, and then we were treated to the most incredible sunset. Some lovely neighbours even let us use their paddock for photos, which was such a gift.

Kate from was the powerhouse behind bringing Piper’s vision to life, and did an incredible job of keeping everything running smoothly.

One of my favourite details was Piper’s dad giving people tractor rides, something the family used to do when the kids and cousins were little. It was such a nostalgic, joyful touch to an already beautiful day.

What a ripper night. The dancefloor was still going strong when I left, and I’m officially convinced that burying sausages might be the ultimate wedding hack!! ❤️

A decade of love, laughter, and adventures across the world, brought these two to the moment of beginning their next chapter in the most intimate and heartfelt way — a micro wedding with just nine of their closest people, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of Broughton Gardens in Jindivick.

With the rolling hills of Gippsland as their backdrop and spring blooms including cherry blossoms all around in the gardens, they said “I do” on the exact day they met, ten years ago. It was quiet, meaningful, and full of the kind of joy that lingers long after the last toast is made.

Sometimes, the smallest gatherings hold the greatest love — and this day was nothing short of magic.

Congrats M+M - here's to many more decades of sweet happiness ❤️

HOW DO I CHOOSE WHICH PHOTO TO LEAD WITH?!?!

Nath & Bec’s wedding at the beautiful Carlei Estate Winery was one of those days that just fills your heart right up.

It was my first wedding back for the season and the forecast had us all thinking we’d be blown away with rain and crazy winds… but instead we got soft little showers, golden light sneaking through, and the most incredible sunset to wrap up the day. Honestly, we couldn’t have been luckier!

With just 35 of their nearest and dearest, the whole vibe was relaxed, fun, and full of those little moments that remind you what weddings are all about — laughter, happy tears, and so much love.

And of course, I’ve got to shout out Carlei Estate. Nat and her team are absolute gems — they always go above and beyond for their couples (and us suppliers too) and it honestly makes days like this run so beautifully.

Happy first day of marriage, Bec + Nath — here’s to all the adventures still to come!

Some wedding days are just pure magic, and Maddi & Ty’s autumn celebration by the Dargo River was exactly that.

With the golden leaves falling around them, they exchanged vows in one of their favourite places — the riverbank where they’ve spent so many weekends camping together. Their incredible celebrant, Rachael from , created a ceremony that was deeply personal, weaving in beautiful touches of Viking tradition that made the moment even more meaningful and unique to them.

During the big group photo, Maddi & Ty surprised their guests with the happiest news of all… they’re expecting their first baby! The cheers, hugs, and happy tears made it a moment no one will ever forget.

Later that evening at the reception, Ty — aka , country music DJ — had one more surprise for his new wife. He serenaded Maddi with a song he had written just for her. As his voice filled the room, you could feel the love in every word — the perfect soundtrack to the beginning of their forever.

From the vows, to the baby news, to the music, their day was overflowing with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories

I'm still smiling after this gorgeous little wedding at on Saturday — a small gathering of their nearest and dearest, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Autumn colours in the vines were showing off, the May sunshine was kind, and everything felt warm and full of love 🍂

There’s something so special about smaller weddings — less fuss, more connection, and all the space to just soak it in. The laughter, the tears, the golden light… magic. ✨

The kind of wedding dreams are made of… 🐾

Tucked away on a private property in Mt. Egerton, Sam + Dylan celebrated their love in the most relaxed, down-to-earth way—surrounded by family, friends, and of course, their beloved dogs Alice + Diesel. 🐶

From the moment guests arrived, the vibe was pure magic. Hay bales for seating, orcharfd and paddocks stretching for miles, and that unmistakable feeling of relaxed excitement.
When you think of a private property wedding this is exactly what you imagine - Laughter echoing through the trees, paws padding happily around and guests relaxed and enjoying themselves.

As the sun dipped low, we climbed the hill at the back of the property, greeted by a view that took our breath away. An endless rolling landscape bathed in golden light—a perfect, quiet moment for the newlyweds to soak it all in. ✨
