Today we answered the question…
“How does Hosier Lane look when it’s filled up with over 150 rainbow umbrellas?!”
The answer, it looks gorgeously epic!

This morning 150 of my closest friends met me in the city to brighten our already brightest laneway!
We even had the legendary JBoy paint us our very own mural!
It’s on the right closest wall, zoom in to see it.
A massive thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day to help me make this dream a reality.
This will be the first of many large scale umbrella photoshoots I will organise around the city and then hopefully… the world.
Would anyone else be keen to be in the next photoshoot?
I’m already looking forward to it!

What happens when there’s bad weather?

Great question! Let’s be honest, Melbourne, while being one awesome place to live, has notoriously erratic weather!

I had no idea when signing up to this photography gig of mine that learning the camera was the easy part. Learning to work the weather patterns in Melbourne is by far the hardest part of the job!

But you can’t change the weather, so we adapt!

I book one outdoor shoot per weekend and ask that you keep both Saturday and Sunday open.

We confirm in the week prior to your session the best day and time according to the forecast.

Overcast days I move the session to earlier in the day.

I only cancel if it’s raining or seriously blowing a gale.

I don’t cancel because it’s cold (because then I would have no job between March-November 😂🤣
You need to ensure you and your family are dressed for the weather!
(personally, I looooove winter fashion!)

Also, we can also have an in-home shoot if you’d prefer to stay warm and cosy!
