The Sumatran tiger is a critically endangered subspecies found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, with fewer than 400 individuals estimated to remain in the wild.
This is the beautiful Indrah, a stunning female Sumatran tiger here based at our zoo. I have been doing less in my editing now as it’s more about the beauty of that particular species of animal, not my editing and more my photography 🐅

These guys are amazing how they blend and camouflage themselves to their environment, finding them extremely very hard to see. Neil and I were very lucky to see one in suburbia recently, and when they fly there’s completely no sound!

Neil and I finally came back here on the weekend and it was definitely worth it and really wonderful seeing how many were here.
Unbeknownst to me when I took these photos that I captured a Mumma with her baby. In not just one set but two of two different Mums. I was excited to see bubba in this set too!

It’s been a little while since I posted last but sharing some more from my garden shoot with the beautiful Kat, but in monochrome. I still love color but sometimes I really can’t go knock back a classic black and white.
This will probably be my last post for 2025. Thanks to those who have supported me this year. It’s been a super difficult year and had its challenges but hasn’t it been for most. Wishing you all a festive Xmas and see you all in 2026 𖤐₊˚.
