It’s been a little while… 📸
I just realised my last post here was back on 24 August 2025, when I shared some of my seascape and astrophotography work.
Since then, photography has understandably taken a bit of a back seat. Life has been wonderfully busy with family commitments, looking after our energetic 3-year-old and welcoming a new baby into the family. Finding the time to head out with the camera hasn’t been quite as easy as it used to be!
Last Friday, 31 July, I was fortunate enough to have some free time to pick up the camera again and spend a few hours exploring Melbourne’s new Metro Tunnel stations.
It was great to get out and shoot again.
This time, instead of the landscapes and night skies I often enjoy photographing, I turned my attention to something a little different — architecture, lines, light, symmetry and the details within these new spaces.
I visited Parkville, State Library, Town Hall and Anzac stations, each with its own distinctive design and character.
Here are a few of my favourite images from the day. 🚇📷
Hopefully it won’t be another year before the next post!
