A great event recently at Porsche Centre Melbourne to celebrate 75 Years of Porsche in Australia.

Some lovely vehicles on display, the jewel in the crown was without a doubt the 918 Spyder commissioned by Gregor Piëch.

For a while, this page was quieter than I'd have liked.

Not because I stopped making photographs, but because I was spending time understanding *why* I make them.

Over the past few months I've completely rebuilt Ignite Image—not just the website, but the philosophy behind it.

What began as a place to share my photography has evolved into something much more personal.

Today, Ignite Image is an editorial photographic practice exploring the connections between people, place and pursuit. Through photography and writing, I'm interested in the stories that exist beyond the obvious—the quiet moments, the conversations, the anticipation, and the human side of the worlds I find myself drawn to.

You'll still find Formula 1 and automotive culture here, but you'll also find landscapes, travel, people, analog photography and the journal essays that tie them all together.

I decided to shoot a roll of some recently acquired and very expired Kodak Vericolor Slide SO-279 Film. I already had a fair idea what the colouring would look so I decided to send it and get some funky results for Nuggets and Friends.
