2-DAY GRAMPIANS HIKING ADVENTURE:
Day2- Day- Mt Rosea Hike via the Grand Staircase

After returning to our accomodation and packing up, my daughter and I set out for the final hike of our 2 day trip. We decided to tackle Mt. Rosea via the Grand Staircase. In comparison to the day before, this one was easier to follow up the mountain but the cliff faces did not get any smaller. Another awesome rock scrambler with stunning views.

2-DAY GRAMPIANS HIKING ADVENTURE:
Day1- Night- Pinnacles Sunset Hike.

After my favourite hike to date, me and my daughter headed for the pool and after a nice refresher we headed to the Pinnacles in time for sunset and then back down in darkness. The Pinnaclescan be tackled from Halls Gap, Wonderland Carpark as well as Sundial carpark, depending on the distance you wish to cover. We took the middle version to be ablw to go the through the Great Canyon and Silent street via the Echo Wall. A great way to end Day 1.

2-DAY GRAMPIANS HIKING ADVENTURE:
Day1- Day- Stapylton Ampitheatre Hike
After the stunning sunrise my daughter and I set out to tackle agruably the hardest day hike at the Grampians, when it comes to technical off track navigation and serious rock scrambling. The Stapylton Ampitheatre Hike is only a 6.7km in lenght but only suitable for the most experienced of hikers. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, featuring rugged terrains, cave climbing, spectacular views of dense woodlands and iron-stained cliffs and exposed cliff faces. Once you past the summit of Hollow Mountain you enter a maze of ridge line cliff faces and there is no turning back. One way only until you reach the summit ot Mt Stapylthon. On the way back you will pass the onymous Taipan Wall and ponder how on earth you survived being up there. A must for all thrill seakers.

Braeside Park: another of my favourite local parks especially for sunset walks as the sun sets above the wetlands. There are plenty of shorter walks but the whole loop around the park is just under 5km on flat ground. Definitely worth a visit but dont forget to keep your pets at home as no dogs allowed here.

Grampians Three Day Hiking Adventure:
Just returned from a stunning three-day hike in the Victorian Grampians National Park. Three days of sunny days, chilly two-degree mornings, grueling ascents and descents, stunning views, and plenty of rock scrambling and exposed cliff faces. Some of the highlights included Hollow Mountain, The Pinnacles, Grand Canyon, Venus Baths, The Balconies, Lake Bellfield, Silverband Falls, and the Boroka and Reed lookouts.
