WELCOME TO 2023! Can you believe it??!
As you may have noticed, its been quite a while since my last post, so firstly thanks for sticking around.
Most of you are now aware that we have relocated to Melbourne - and loving our new life!
I currently have six weddings left to photograph in The Whitsundays - such bitter sweet moments. First up, I'd love to introduce to you, Mr and Mrs Watt.

It brings me so much happiness to share with you the moments I shoot for, the moments that bring me the most joy and the moments I will forever be grateful for. My favourite part is the opportunity to photograph families! I first met the Watt family when I photographed Dylan and Charlotte's wedding in September 2020!

One of my favourite reasons for photographing weddings at Villa Botanica is the five star attention to detail from the incredible co-ordinators - from ensuring veils are in place, button holes on, impeccable communication, guests are kept entertained, glasses are full, delicious food keeps flowing, a completely stress free day for couple and bridal party, vendors know exactly what is going on... it really is five star service.

Luke and Frances were married just a few days before I left The Whitsundays. Overcast skies and sprinkles of rain left us with the most beautiful backdrop for their special day!

It is an honour to share images of Cat and Dan's special day with you. I am so grateful to have formed an Instagram friendship with this gorgeous couple from the UK over the past few years.

Cat and Dan were so incredibly understanding and supportive of our family's decision to move interstate, and they were both checking in on me via insta messages whenever my family had been facing numerous challenges over the past few years. I am forever grateful.
Even though I was unable to be there in person to photograph their day, I felt like I was able to relive it as I processed their images.

CURRENTLY EDITING: These made me stop in my tracks... I had to share!

I adore so many things about weddings...
the love, the laughter, the tears, the joy, the happiness, the stories, the emotion... the REAL moments!

I am simply honoured to work alongside so many dedicated professionals who put their whole heart into what they truly believe in. The beautiful and unique ways we all provide our services is such a joy to be part of.
The way a celebrant delivers a couples story, the art behind creating make up and hairstyles, the hand sewn lace on uniquely created gowns, the absolute passion that goes into creating your day exactly how you dreamt about... and I, I get to capture it all! It doesn't need to be picture perfect, the thing I love to do is capturing your day YOUR way, exactly HOW it happens.

These series of Lesa and Jeremy's ceremonies truly capture the real moments and they are some of my most favourite images. Don't stress about the small stuff, take it for what it is and enjoy the REAL moments.

With Dayna and Dylan expecting their first baby in a matter of weeks, I'm so happy that they were able to marry so they all share the same surname, just like Dayna had hoped for.

With just one week until my next adventure sees me leaving The Whitsundays and heading to live in Melbourne, I felt extremely grateful to have been documenting this incredible day for two beautiful humans all while photographing at one of my VERY favourite venues The Old Station Teahouse.
