Daily gone Weekender!

What started off as a work horse, Al purchased this sting red SS and withon the year of ownership it quickly became a weekend toy.

Engine: Jason at LS1PWR Performance helped beef up the standard LS1 with a head & cam package and tuned it making a healthy 295kw. A full manualised auto & Eaton Trutrac differential with 4:11s gears fitted .

Interior got a very nice upgrade with the help of Incharge , Al sat down with the team and designed his seats.
HSV coulsens wrapt in red leather with honeycomb, contrasting black stitching and the SS logo followed with matching door cards.

Keeping with the red theme, little details like the restitched steering wheel and upgraded red LED globes throughout the dash providing a like OEM finish.

Bodywork remains all original SS with the help of a good detail. Filling the wheel arches are Simmons FR22s (F8.5) (R9.5).

Al has finished the SS in preparation for Summernats 37 and wants to thank the following for getting the car completed.

We wish him the best and look forward to see some rubber on the rear bar!

// Red Street fighter //

Martin’s Genuine LW5 SL turbo has just come off a complete rebuild just in time for summer cruising.

Martin brought his VL 6 years ago completely stock. Beginning with the usual mods wheels and small engine mods.
Fast forward a couple years into ownership Martin began puzzling pieces for the build.

Bodywork: A complete open door paint in original Maranello red including a smoothed engine by the team at Ivanovic Restorations in Thomastown. Martin didn't stop there, he then had the guys at Pro Gloss Detailing providing a full in depth paint correction and coating making this VL shine for years.

Engine & Trans:
A full built RB30 with forged internal,
- Half grout filled
- Fire ringed Torrington bearing
- JW2 hydraulic cam.
Mounted to the side is a large Procharge G42 turbo, which helps getting the little RB30 a whopping 620rwkw at 41psi.
Paired with a Paul Rogers Performance Transmissions powerglide.

Working closely with Chris at Precision Autotech, Chris had a lot of involvement with the mechanical side from the choosing the correct components, down to tuning it.

Visiting Psidup Fabrications for the 6 point roll cage and 9” full spool with 35 spline billet axles differential, with a Mood Motorsport anti roll bar and adjustable shockers.

The brains behind it all. A Link Fury G4X keeps this VL in order.
Racewires Auto Electrics had wired the car from front to back.

The cockpit of this jet is equally impressive as outside, with our favorite combination of OEM material re trimmed Scheel seats. MOMO Ghibli wheel and a Haltech dash.

Martin’s had the roll cage powder coated to match the grey interior which blends in well.

Rolling on Weld V series (F) 17x4.5 -15x8 (R) with beadlocks. Behind the spokes are Wilwood brake on all 4 corners.

Martin says the car is perfect and doesn’t want to change anything. His confident to see the track soon. We will follow up for an update in the near future for that.

A massive Thank you to Chris for the killer tune seeing the 600kw club.

Special mention also to thank Tom Hoogy for all the fabrication and help assembling the car.

A big thanks to the following:
The team at Psidup Fabrications
Chris at Precision Autotech

// White knight //

George’s Calais is one of finest on Melbourne’s streets with the power to back it.

After a 6 year ownership and a simple performance setup George made the decision to build a bigger & faster combo.

A full built nitto engine, Garret G42 turbo, solid head kelford cam setup, wired to haltech ECU.
Mated to a 2 speed power glide built by Paul Rodgers.
Tommy From Dyno house was in charge of making some power and a healthy 550rkw from the SOHC RB.

Whilst the engine was being built, George looked no further then Billy at Rajab Customs for a freshen up of the body including a full shaved bay finished in a straight white tinter.

A Hollandia 700 rolled edge sunroof fitted complementing the Calais touch.

George enjoys keeping the interior in its original form with only Scheel headrests and a MOMO wheel added.

Finishing the exterior with custom built 3 piece polished Simmons FRs with 20x9 with 5 inch dish on rear and 20x8.5, exposing those killer Wilwood brakes.

from the stock, form mid and highly modified VL turbo this mix has it.

An immaculate restored Morning Blue factory turbo Berlina (which is now sold).

A fresh and well put together VL by JPC, which should see the 500kw club once its completed its "run in tune" stage.

The red BT1 is ex victorian police car. fitted nostalgic HDT star form 17" wheels and a early 2000s setup.

These VLs are maintained by the team at Pro Gloss Detailing.

No work rig here!

Admir's very tough Holden VS S pac which has been a slow on- off build for 7 years starting as a V6 and has progressed to a LS1 and seeing a full repaint.

Starting with what keeps catching your eyes are the custom painted sting red Simmons. Now if that doesn’t stand out enough they are 22inch!
A Mini tubbed rear end 9 inch differential helps achieve fitting up those huge 22x10 rim. Helping fill the gaps, Harrop brakes sourced from a later HSV’s added for extra stopping power.

Running gear is a N/A LS1 with upgraded head and cam from Flowcraft Race Engines and fitted with something that is getting harder to find in street cars now is a manual. A T56 with twin plate clutch should keep Admir occupied.

The car was built over the years of ownership, beginning with the running gear, while Admir accumulated NOS parts from plastics grilles to body moulds all in preparation for the restoration and repaint in it’s factory “Ravens Mica”. The engine bay received a full hidden wire package which compliments the number plates too!

For a 90's Holden their isn't more class then Devonish seats. Fitted nicely are VR GTS seats with a MOMO SV wheel. Haltech dash and some later model VY bits to update the interior.

Currently the car will remain N/A and be a busy street car doing it's duties. We will see a new engine combo with a top mounted supercharger in the future says Admir.

A special thank you to the following:
Eugene from Flowcraft Race Engines
Bill Rajab Customs
Bill and the team at GarageWorx
Rocvic auto Repairs
McDonald Bros Racing Products
J D Automotive
S & A Electronic Tuning Service
RPM Race Parts Melbourne
D'Annello Performance
Speedpro
Andrew at Werribee Brake & Clutch
Jeff Johnson from Power Management Solutions EA Ltd
Mark Drew for the fabrication work
Sam for the detailing
Dom, Marcus and Tony for their help along the way.

Be sure to check Admir's 'ALLMTR' on display for it's first debut car show to the public at Showcarsmelbourne this Sunday 19th at Moonee Valley racecourse Melbourne.

Enjoy .

Holden VL Berlina LS turbo

Owner Al loves the old school drag built cars. So when the time came for him to build a car 2 years ago, he wanted modern reliable V8 with an old school setup.

Starting with the engine, a healthy 450rkw from the 364 cubes and Garrett GT42 strapped to the side of it with a full built Powerglide.

Tucking in nicely is a 275 radial on 15x8 rim thanks to the mini tubs to fit the iconic Centreline Convo pros.

The body work is all standard with only a 4 inch reverse cowl added. Painted in the original color Imperial blue over MX grey.

The interior presents well in it original Berlina form, apart from the removal of the centre console making way for few gauges and B&M ratchet shifter. Which screams Race car!

Al says if it wasn’t for limited petrol stations for E85 he would’ve driven it to Heathcote Park Raceway. Straight off the trailer Al ran a PB of 9.7. Followed by a late night cruise later that night in the city.

A huge thank you Luke Foley from Foley Racing which carried out a lot of the mechanical side of it.
Ben from BCR FAB & John from JR Modifications for all the fabrication work
and lastly Tom from K and T Auto Garage.

The future for FST-747, Al says a roll cage and an upgraded differential to a 9 inch to be fitted and push the car furthermore to a lower 9's or better.

Will look forward to see changes and quicker time in near future!
