'761 Operations' - R761 is seen wearing a 707 Operations 'Riverlander' headboard at Southern Cross on the night of the 26th of July. Steamrail lent 707 the loco after R707 had a defect rendering it unsafe to operate. R761 would depart and run to Deniliquin and returns on Sunday the 28th. (26/7/24)

'Preparing the lights' - NGG-16 129 is seen getting ready to depart Belgrave yard enroute to Lakeside to haul the Train of Lights. On the loco is LED light strips which was turned on during the event to light up the forest in the night. Here they're seen turned off. (9/7/24)

2 Replica number plates I’ve made, K183 and K184. These are sister locos and both the real counter parts are still around today. Both 183 and 184 were built at the Newport Workshops in the year 1943 and 1945 respectively. The K class were a 2-8-0 configured class of locomotive with the first entering service in 1922 and the last in 1946. K183 today operates heritage tours with Steamrail Victoria and so did K184 until 1980 when it was put into storage and has stayed there ever since. Hopefully some day we can see these sister locos operate together.
