"Sleep's Gift"

This artwork is an offering to from myself and .

The idea to create a piece centred around SLEEP TOKEN came shortly after discovering them earlier this year and subsequently becoming obsessed with their sound, lore and theatrics.
Being a big fan of progressive music and rock operas, it was no wonder I feel head first into this band.

The downside to this was that I had discovered them too late not have photographed them love, so went about finding someone I knew who had.
Approaching Sam to use his photos was a no brainier, Sam's photos are incredible! His attention to detail in the capturing and editing of his work always blows me away and I knew he would have the best images as a base for this piece!
Luckily for me, Sam is a fan of my work and readily accepted my offer!

I hope as the viewer of this piece it resonates with you and you'll share it around so that the band themselves see it!

Closure in Moscow!

What an incredible show these guys put on!
I didn't know what to expect, but I was certainly. Not disappointed!
The energy in this one was off the charts!

Towards the end of the show I got tired and decided to sit down at the top of the stairs at which let me get the incredible shot of the the balloons dropping on the audience!
It was only SLIGHTLY taken away from by at the front of the stage showing off his massive pole 😉

was on lights and holy crap did she do an incredible job!
I had heard great things of her skills but seeing it up close was something else, a true master of her craft!

Harts !

I didn't know what to expect going into this set since it was a pretty late minute change when The Dear Hunter pulled out but holy crap! What a show!
Harts demonstrated why they're a staple of the Melbourne music scene with an incredibly high energy display of virtuosity.

Some bands you have to see live to fully GET what they're all about and Harts was definitely like that for me.
As soon as I saw how well he performed, played and engaged with everybody in the venue I was completely hooked!

performing at on the 30th May!

What a night this was!
When I reached out to , I didn't expect to get a response, not having many concerts under my belt but I was blown away when himself responded, giving me access to the photo pit for the night!
I'm a MASSIVE fan of Toehider for many years so this was a dream come true!

I decided to make a art piece for Toehider to stand out a little because there are so, so many amazing concert photographers out there that are so good they give me an existential crises (looking at you, !)

Mike Mills gave such an energetic performance, showing why he is one of Australia's most talented musicians!

His band for the night never missed a note as far as I could tell and performed their album "what kind of creature am I?"!

I had the privilege to share the photo pit with .photos, and mother photographer who I didn't get to meet, but hope somebody ćan tag for me!

The indomitable was there to capture video and put his giant pole in every photo I took for the last 5 minutes of the concert, but I love him so he gets a pass 🙃

Thanks to , birdsrobe and for this amazing opportunity to shoot one of my favourite bands!

Watch out for my Harts and Closure in Moscow sets!

The many faces of Amigo the Devil

After looking at over 2000 photos I took of musician Danny Kiranos, formally known by his Amigo the Devil I came to the conclusion that he has to be one of the most expressive people I've ever seen.
It is for that reason I decided to make him the subject of my very first photo carousel edit on instagram!

I've gotta say, the last one of definitely my favourite 😂

As always, thanks for and for the opportunity for shoot this absolute legend!
