The sleek lines of the Gulfstream G800. N829GA is seen here landing at Melbourne Airport on the 27th of July from Singapore. It departed Melbourne on a direct 8,303nm/15,377km journey to Illinois flying 16 hours and 56 minutes at an average speed of Mach 0.85. The farthest and fastest corporate jet flight in history. Impressive indeed.

After recently returning from the bi-annual Singapore Air Show it's time to show some images from the trip. Prior to the show I made a visit to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

The bi-annual airshow showcases military, corporate and airline aircraft from some of the world's major manufacturers. The Republic of Singapore Air Force provide an expansive presence among the static and flying display. Being held at Singapore Changi Airport, the daily flying program is short as the airport is shut down to all other movements.

After recently returning from the bi-annual Singapore Air Show it's time to show some images from the trip. Prior to the show I made a visit to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

I always consider Singapore my favourite home away from home. Plenty of aviation action at Changi Airport made for another memorable visit. The final stop for this trip.

After recently returning from the bi-annual Singapore Air Show it's time to show some images from the trip. Prior to the show I made a visit to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur.

The former main airport for Kuala Lumpur, Subang now caters for some regional flights, military, corporate aircraft and maintenance. With a single runway it's possible to view from areas around the airport. With Firefly based here with it's Aerospatiale ATR72 aircraft it was a perfect opportunity to fly on this new type for me to Singapore.
