It’s been a week. We made the hardest decision to say goodbye to our whiney Winnie, my homegirl for the last 12yrs. Heartbroken. 💔
We are so very thankful for .taylah who came to our home and gave Winnie the kindest, gentlest goodbye, she’s AMAZING if anyone is also in the same boat.
Few days later we had another incident … it’s all been happening.

I got my love of photography from my Dad. I never started getting into it properly until after he’d gone which I have regrets about. Mum even found an old Hasselblad in his Billington bag, full of goodies and lenses. Today is 11years since we lost him. It doesn’t get easier, you just learn to live with it. Not being able to share Arie 👶🏻with him and watch him revel in being a Grandad which he would have loved.
I’ll share one of Dads photos later. He took it of my Grandad looking so lovingly at my Grandma, as I always thought it was so beautifully captured, you can see the love my Grandad had in his eyes.

Not sure what this post is really for, but it’s a chance to make sure his memory lives on and everyone knows what a top bloke he was.
